Alicia Murria, RDH, MS(c)

Founder, Chief Executive Officer ​(2017)

Alicia is dedicated to helping reduce oral health disparities among communities experiencing homelessness. She is a graduate student with a primary focus on public health. She is passionate about giving back to individuals facing homelessness, quality oral health care, and dentistry as a healthcare modality. She is an active member in her local component of the ADHA and is a practicing dental hygienist in the DC metropolitan area. 

Kayla Gallegos, RDH, MS

President/Chief Financial Officer  (2017)

Kayla Gallegos is a practicing dental hygienist in both a private practice office and school-based health center in Albuquerque, NM. She is also the Education and Research Chair of the New Mexico Dental Hygiene Association and completed her Master's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. Her goal in obtaining higher education is to pursue a career in public health and research to help reach less fortunate populations and to increase the efficiency of oral health care for all populations.

Amber Auger, RDH, MPH

Secretary/Marketing Strategist  (2018)

Amber Auger is a practicing dental hygienist and clinical innovation implementation specialist.  With over 14 years of experience in the dental industry, Amber is a monthly contributor to RDH Magazine, featured author for DentistryIQ, Editor of RDH Graduate Newsletter, and host of #AskAmberRDH. Amber has a heart for humanity and consults with Hygienists For Humanity, ensuring we are effectively reaching communities in need. 

Valia Sammarco, RDH, MPH

Media Relations Chair  (2020)

Valia Sammarco is a practicing dental hygienist and public health advocate in Stoughton, Massachusetts. She recently completed her Master’s in Public Health with the intentions of finding a way to make oral healthcare more accessible to underserved populations, specifically the elderly. She was one of the award recipients of the RDH Magazine and Philips Sonicare 2020 Heart to Hands award. She is always looking for ways to connect with others and create awareness of how important the relationship between oral and overall health is.
